This indicator gives a signal
- when to go long
- when to go short
- when to take profit
- when to lock profit
- when to stay out
The CPU load is high. It isn't advised to use this indicator on a single core processor. In future versions the CPU load can maybe be reduced. Check this blog from time to time to see if a new version is released. The source code is protected but you can use it if you want. Screen shots will make everything clear.
The indicators shows 2 lines. The schoolboy_long line and the schoolboy_short line. The values of schoolboy lines varies from 0 to 5. (his grades) Before using this indicator you adjust the only input of this indicator. The "smoothing" period. This is to eliminated the noise. Make it higher until you see the noise is reasonable.
smoothing = 1
example of too small "smoothing" of the indicator, unclear signals
! don't use it like this !
Good example, "smoothing" = 4 on 1 hour chart
A = schoolboy_short crosses the schoolboy_long upwards, go short
B = lock profit
C = schoolboy_long crosses the schoolboy_short upwards, go long
D = lock profit
E = if long not closed, consider closing
F = schoolboy_long crosses schoolboy_short upwards, go long
Download the indicator for old version of dealbook
password for using = ctltrading
After downloading the old version and opening the file: Code for this module is unavailable.
ReplyDeleteEarlier the CTL's written in the blog gives no problem.
Is it possible to write the code in the blog instead of downloading.
Thanks, with kind regards.

With
Albert. You can use the indicator but you can't view the source code. Just click cancel when you open the file. Then enter the code "ctltrading". After that click the install buttom. Then open prostation or dealbook and add it....ready to go.
